The labor court decided to compensate an employee of a private company an amount of 10,000 in compensation for unfair dismissal.

In the details of the case, the lawyer, Doaa Abd Ali, said that an employee was arbitrarily dismissed from his work, and the court obligated him to compensate him with salaries of 7 and a half months in arrears, in the amount of 5310 dinars, in addition to obligating the company to pay the annual leave allowance at the rate of 30 days’ wages, and obligating the company to pay compensation for the arbitrary dismissal And obligating the company to pay an end-of-service gratuity of 2,700 dinars, and obligating it to pay fees, expenses and legal interest at the rate of 10% from the due date until the general payment.
She added that the employee signed a two-year contract with the company with a monthly salary of 600 dinars, then renewed the contract for two additional years with a monthly salary of 700 dinars. A labor settlement, then he submitted his resignation from the company and the resignation was approved.

The court also ruled obligating the defendant to pay the plaintiff an amount of 5,273 late wages for the period from April 2020 to November 2020, and interest at 6% annually of the wage whose payment was delayed for six months or less from the date the wage is due.
The court also obligated the defendant to pay the plaintiff an amount of 700 dinars as an annual leave allowance, and an amount of 2,700 dinars as an end-of-service gratuity and legal interest.
