The Abu Dhabi Pension Fund confirmed that the insured is not required to return or pay the value of the end-of-service gratuity in full, within the three-month period

Today, the deadline set by the Abu Dhabi Pension Fund begins to run for the insured who wish to combine the periods of previous services, in return for refunding the value of the end-of-service benefits they received, and without any additional cost, for a period of three months from today, until January 17, 2022, in response The directives of His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, to exempt the insured with the Abu Dhabi Pension Fund from paying the cost of adding previous years of service based on a percentage of the current salary.

The Fund explained that it will benefit from this period of insured persons who paid the end-of-service gratuity before the date of May 20 of the year 2020, and have the desire to combine their previous service periods at present, noting that after the end of the period of time, the consideration for adding the service will be calculated on the basis of 26% of the subject salary. for deduction.

The Fund set five conditions to benefit from the grace period, including “that the insured must be on the job at the time of submitting the joining request, and that the end-of-service gratuity be disbursed before May 20, 2020, in addition to the need to refund the value of the reward disbursed all at once or in installments, and that the intended service not be Inclusion in the private sector outside the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, and finally, that the period of service to be joined should not precede the insured's acquisition of the nationality of the state.
