Abu Dhabi Police invites the public to take advantage of the fines installment initiative

According to a post made by the Abu Dhabi Police Department's official account on the social networking website known as "Facebook," the department has extended an invitation to the general public to take advantage of a service that allows them to request payments in instalments for fines incurred as a result of traffic violations committed by their vehicles and drivers. This service is free of charge and does not generate any interest or profits. The purpose of this outreach is to increase the level of satisfaction and optimism felt by customers.

It was clarified by the Directorate of Traffic and Patrols in the Central Operations Sector the conditions and steps for benefiting from the service. One of the conditions is that the credit card must be issued by banks and banks that have contracted with the General Command of Abu Dhabi Police. These banks include First Abu Dhabi Bank, Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank, Mashreq Islamic Bank, Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank, Emirates Islamic Bank, and Al-Tisal. Directly at one of the banks that offer the service, within a time period that does not exceed two weeks from the date of payment of the sum, to request the installment of the violations that have been committed.

This service makes it possible for people to pay their fines in installments over the course of a year using the Abu Dhabi Police service centers and digital channels such as the website and the smart phone application. No interest is charged to the people who take advantage of this service.
