Lieutenant-Colonel Dr. Manaf Al-Qahtani, an infectious disease consultant at the Military Hospital, a member of the National Medical Team to tackle the Corona Virus (Covid-19), said that there is no "Delta Crohn" in Bahrain.

In a tweet to him via his Twitter account, Al-Qahtani said: To clarify, from a scientific point of view, Delta Crohn is not a new mutant, but rather a mixing between the mutants of the same original virus “Corona” as an attempt by the virus to continue and survive.
He added, "From a medical point of view, there is no evidence to prove that this type of fusion affects the efficiency of vaccinations or causes complications, and it does not exist in Bahrain at the moment."
