Some schools located in several regions of the UAE have switched the study system from Friday, January 6, 2023 to the distance study system due to weather developments.

The administrations of public schools in Fujairah and the Eastern Region decided to transfer the study today “remotely” through the Microsoft Teams application, due to the expected tropical condition.

Alerting school administrations to students after applying distance learning

School administrations emphasized the importance of students' commitment to classes and not being late in joining the broadcast through the application, stressing at the same time the activation of students' accounts.

Circulars to schools and messages to parents when applying the distance learning system

The schools circulated this through their accounts on the “Telegram” application, and sent text messages to parents.

Reasons for applying some schools to the distance study system

For its part, the Emirates Foundation for School Education said that due to the expected weather conditions, it was decided to transfer distance learning in schools in Fujairah and the eastern region to all public schools and nurseries in these regions.
