Lieutenant-Colonel Fatima Omar Abdel Ghaffar, Director of the Health and Social Affairs Department at the Ministry of Interior, stated that the remote medical consultation service has been activated, after obtaining approval from the National Authority for Regulating Health Professions and Services.

She explained that the administration seeks to continuously serve all employees of the Ministry of Interior and their families without the need to visit the Public Security Health Center, with the aim of maintaining their safety and applying all necessary precautions to limit the spread of the Corona virus.

The Director of the Department of Health and Social Affairs stated that employees of the Ministry of Interior can request simple medical and health consultations, request laboratory analyzes, and renew medical prescriptions for chronic diseases through the “WhatsApp” application at the number 39788490, and they can also benefit from physiotherapy services that include assessment of the health status, and providing Advice and guidance through the number 39788497, noting that those wishing to benefit from this service can contact the mentioned numbers during the official working period (Sunday to Thursday) every week, from 7 am to 2 pm.
