Based on the recommendation of the National Medical Team to Address the Corona Virus (Covid-19) and the approval of the Coordinating Committee, to update the list of countries on the red list, the Civil Aviation Affairs announced that, starting from Sunday, October 10, 2021, it was decided to remove 11 countries from the list of countries on the list. The red ones are the Republic of South Africa, the Republic of Namibia, the Republic of Uganda, the Republic of Mozambique, the Republic of Zimbabwe, the Republic of Malawi, the People’s Republic of Bangladesh, the Republic of Indonesia, the Republic of the Union of Myanmar, the Republic of Georgia and the Republic of Ecuador; It was also decided to include one country in the list of countries on the red list, which is the Republic of Romania, in addition to the countries already on the list.

Civil Aviation Affairs noted that the entry of travelers from the countries listed on the red list will continue to be suspended on all flights, including those coming from these countries who will enter the Kingdom of Bahrain temporarily, with the exception of citizens and holders of residence visas valid in the Kingdom of Bahrain. All other procedures previously announced for arrivals allowed to enter the Kingdom of Bahrain from countries listed on the red list, indicating that all other procedures previously announced for arrivals from countries not listed on the red list will also be maintained.
