The Ministry of Health, in a clarification on a publication from the Health Promotion Department on the official social networking site of the ministry, regarding a cheese product, noted that what was published today comes within the framework of correcting healthy lifestyles and in the framework of health awareness and guidance to promote health orientation while modifying the healthy behavior of individuals in the community.

She stressed that the awareness guidelines that are presented in their health publications include health information and facts from recognized sources, but do not include prohibitions or warnings about consuming certain products, as they emphasize the concept of moderation and balance in eating habits in order to maintain health, with physical activity and reduce Foods and drinks that may pose a health risk for not adhering to either their quantities or ways of eating them.

She explained that the products that are licensed in the local markets are carried out in coordination and cooperation with the relevant authorities, in addition to special procedures within the controls of a unified Gulf purchase. She revealed that many licensed products are identified through the health card and what is required to be mentioned about them. Thus, the consumer can know the type of product he wants to consume.

She indicated that the issue of cheese, or what a number of countries called "cheese-like", and its components are known through the health card and by reading what is written on the package, especially the list of ingredients helps community members to identify the food ingredients.
