The Head of Public Prosecution of Ministries and Public Entities stated that the Public Prosecution had conducted its investigations into an incident of fraud and offering for sale food commodities (dates and molasses), which are corrupt and expired, and practicing a commercial activity without a license.

The Public Prosecution had received a notification yesterday morning from the Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Tourism that one of the shops selling foodstuffs had been seized with a food product from which the expiry date had been removed, and it was offered for sale. The data of another product was also changed and refilled. By conducting further investigations, it was found that there were stores affiliated with the store and that the activity of storing foodstuffs was engaged in without a license, and by inspecting those stores, seals were monitored for the dates of production and expiry and the seizure of more than nine thousand corrupt and expired products without validity dates, so the store was closed administratively, and the stores that were visited were also visited. It is dealt with and the presence of the spoiled food product was found, and accordingly those products were kept.
