Lt. Colonel Fawaz Nasser Al-Jeeran, Director of Ports Department, confirmed that all new workers who enter the Kingdom of Bahrain have face, eye and hand fingerprints taken, so any worker who tries to enter illegally will be caught.

He stressed that Bahrain International Airport has been equipped with 22 of the latest electronic gates, which help to increase the accuracy of security procedures and ensure entry and exit from the ports.

He pointed out that the electronic gates are activated and linked with the passport systems, and more accurate in matching the traveler's information and verifying his identity than the passport officer, who does this himself, which means that these systems are safe, effective, tested and fully practical.
