His Excellency the Minister was briefed on the progress of work on a number of projects, foremost of which is the wage protection system, and the level of employers' commitment to joining the system according to the timetable set for the three phases.

Humaidan stressed the importance of the accurate application of "wage protection", which contributes to creating a state of stability in the work environment that is based on the principle of wages for work, and reduces labor disputes. Humaidan was also briefed on the voluntary insurance system for domestic workers, which provides the necessary protection for both employers and domestic workers, directed to studying the possibility of adding new features that serve and preserve the rights of work parties.

During the meeting, the developments of the wage protection system project were followed up in light of the start of the implementation of the third phase in early January, which obligates all employers who have 1-49 workers to pay the wages of their workers in accordance with the wage protection system, and this stage is the most widespread, with more than 98 percent. % of all companies in its three phases.
