Bahrain removes India and three countries from the red list

The Coordination Committee updated the list of countries on the red list. Civil Aviation Affairs announced that starting on Friday, September 3, 2021, it was decided to include 5 countries on the list of countries on the red list.

Based on the recommendation of the National Medical Team to Address the Corona Virus (Covid-19) and the approval of the Coordination Committee, to update the list of countries included in the red list, the Civil Aviation Affairs announced that, starting from Friday, September 3, 2021, it was decided to include 5 countries on the list of countries included in the red list. They are the Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Republic of Slovenia, the Republic of Ethiopia, the Republic of Costa Rica, and the Republic of Ecuador, in addition to the countries already on the list. It was also decided to remove 4 countries from the list, namely the Republic of Pakistan, the Republic of India, the Republic of Panama and the Dominican Republic.

Civil Aviation Affairs also announced the cancellation of the laboratory examination of the Corona virus (PCR) before boarding the plane and leaving for the Kingdom of Bahrain for vaccinated people in countries whose vaccination certificates have been approved, with the exception of those coming from countries listed on the red list, where the previous procedure will be maintained, which is to present a certificate An approved PCR examination bearing a QR code before boarding the plane, 48 hours before the time of departure, with the continuation of the arrival check, the fifth day check and the tenth day check for all travelers coming to the Kingdom of Bahrain.

Civil Aviation Affairs noted that the entry of travelers from the countries listed on the red list will continue to be suspended on all flights, including those coming from these countries who will enter the Kingdom of Bahrain temporarily, with the exception of citizens and holders of residence visas valid in the Kingdom of Bahrain. All other procedures previously announced for arrivals allowed to enter the Kingdom of Bahrain from countries listed on the red list will be maintained, noting that all other procedures previously announced for arrivals from countries not on the red list will also be maintained.

According to the new update; The Red List includes the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka, the Republic of Tunisia, the Republic of Georgia, the Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Republic of Slovenia, the Republic of Ethiopia, the Republic of Costa Rica, the People's Republic of Bangladesh, the Islamic Republic of Indonesia, the Republic of the Philippines, the Federal Democratic Republic of Nepal, the Federation Republic Myanmar, the Islamic Republic of Iran, the Republic of Iraq, the Kingdom of Malaysia, the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, the People's Republic of Mongolia, the Republic of South Africa, the Republic of Uganda, the Republic of Zimbabwe, the Republic of Namibia, the Republic of Mozambique, the Republic of Malawi, the Republic of Ukraine and the United States of Mexico.

It is noteworthy that updating the red list by adding or removing countries from the list is carried out according to the assessment of the national medical team to address the Corona virus, according to the relevant criteria in terms of the extent of the virus spread in countries, and this list will be reviewed and updated periodically
