The House of Representatives approved an urgent proposal to drop personal and real estate loans from citizens and pay the profits due on them in easy installments.
The presenter of the proposal, Masoumeh Abdel Rahim, said that the proposal comes with the aim of alleviating the suffering of the citizen, in addition to activating the local market and purchasing value, stressing that loans have not been dropped in the history of Bahrain, wishing that this proposal would see the light and count this proposal as one of the achievements of the current Parliament in its last session.

Abdullah Al-Dosari, one of the proposal’s sponsors, confirmed that the citizens were affected by the pandemic, and many of them lost huge sums, and some of them are shop owners and merchants, calling for the loans to be dropped from the citizens while calculating the interests.
