The Chief Executive Officer of the Information and eGovernment Authority, Mr. Muhammad Ali Al-Qaed, announced the implementation of a comprehensive plan to improve ID card services, in response to the customers’ comments and suggestions received by the authority, related to card services, appointments and the completion of their transactions electronically or through personal attendance at service centers, stressing that the development process will provide about 600 to 1,000 appointments per day, and it includes reopening the card services center in Arad, increasing the number of fast-track employees, developing electronic identity card services by facilitating its procedures and raising its capacity, in addition to providing more electronic services. The future development process also includes increasing the number of self-service machines and making them available in A greater number of nearby sites for citizens, and the provision of advanced electronic key registration services through self-service machine platforms.
