In implementation of the decision of the Accountability Committee, the National Authority for Regulating Health Professions and Services has withdrawn the licenses of four medical centers in the year 2021, due to the presence of serious violations that were detected in these centers, including the presence of unlicensed professionals, the practice of unlicensed practices, the presence of unlicensed or expired medicines, in addition to Presence of unlicensed medical devices from the Authority.


Dr. Maryam Athbi Al-Jalahmah, CEO of the authority, confirmed that based on the decision of the accountability committee and after investigation with the concerned directors of those medical centers, the competent committee headed by the judge decided to close those medical centers, and the national authority gave the centers a deadline to withdraw the license, after which the decision of the accountability committee was implemented.
