The Ministry of Foreign Affairs expresses the Kingdom of Bahrain's sincere condolences over the crash of a helicopter belonging to the peacekeeping forces of the United Nations Stabilization Mission in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (MONUSCO), which occurred yesterday in the volatile North Kivu region in the east of the country, with eight members of the mission on board.

As the Ministry of Foreign Affairs extends its sincere condolences to the families and families of the victims from the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, the Russian Federation and the Republic of Serbia, and its sympathy with the governments and peoples of their friendly countries following this tragic incident, to affirm its full solidarity with the United Nations Mission in the Democratic Republic of the Congo, and its appreciation for the efforts of peacekeeping forces and their humanitarian endeavors to achieve security stability and the consolidation of regional and international peace.
