The Ministry of Health announced the update of the booster dose protocol for the vaccinated and the recovered.

In details, the Ministry allowed those who received 3 doses of the Sinopharma vaccination to get the second booster dose (ie the fourth dose), where they can get a dose of Pfizer or Sinopharma.
The Ministry allowed those vaccinated and recovered who received two vaccination doses of Sinopharm, who are 40 years and over, or who suffer from obesity, immunodeficiency diseases or chronic diseases, to obtain the first booster dose after only one month after receiving the second dose.
As for those who have received two vaccination doses of the “AstraZeneca, Fayez, Sputnik” vaccines, they can receive the first booster dose 3 months after the second dose.

The Ministry also allowed the category of "recovered" who received two doses of vaccination, to obtain the booster dose after 6 months from the date of injury and the passage of the specified period of time from the second or first booster dose, where they can obtain a booster dose from one of the following three vaccines: Sinopharm, Pfizer, or Sputnik.
