According to this resolution, a specialized unit in human rights was established in the office, entrusted with many tasks in this field, including following up on cases that raise human rights facts and preparing Presenting the reports with the proposed recommendations in implementation of the provisions of the law and the international agreements to which the Kingdom is a party, following up on the application of the rules for the treatment of convicted and remanded inmates, the issued laws and judicial principles and the ratified relevant agreements, extracting what is learned from them in this field, and responding to inquiries related to human rights with regard to The work of the Public Prosecution Office, and contributing to the preparation of periodic reports through the membership of the Public Prosecution Office in the Higher Coordination Committee for Human Rights.
