An official source at the Meteorological Department of the Ministry of Transportation and Communications announced today, Tuesday, that the Arabian Peninsula region is witnessing during the current period the dominance of southeast winds, whose speed ranges from moderate to active, contributing to raising temperatures above their normal levels for this month, as the weather tends to warm, especially during the period the day.

The source explained that the weather maps indicate that the winds will shift to northwesterly, on Thursday evening, with an increase in speed starting from Friday, March 25, to reach from active to very fast, causing local dust with the formation of dust waves at intervals.

The source expected that this atmosphere would continue until the end of next week, with a decrease in temperatures, especially during the evening, with partly cloudy weather at times.
