The UAE authorities have determined the amount of medicines that are allowed to be carried by travelers arriving at the country's airports.
Dr. Amin Al-Amiri, Assistant Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health and Prevention for Public Health Policy and Licensing, explained in a press interview that the Ministry of Health allows residents to bring specific quantities of medicines and bring them into the country.
Al Amiri, Undersecretary of the UAE Ministry of Health, announced that the medicines that are dispensed are prescribed by POM for use.
The patient must have a medical report or any other medical document showing the following:
The type of disease
A copy of the medical prescription showing the patient's data.
It was allowed to bring in a quantity that does not exceed the quantity needed for personal use for a period of 6 months at most.
