Dubai Police set 10 requirements to meet traffic safety standards, during the celebration of the 50th Union Day of the country, which included: preventing marches on any of the streets, not leaving vehicle windows or the sunroof of the vehicle, and prohibiting what is known as drifting in vehicles, which is turning around with the brakes on great speed.

The requirements set by Dubai Police included: the necessity of fully complying with the traffic law, not blacking out or tinting the windshield of the car, not loading the vehicle more than the prescribed number, and not obliterating its front or rear plates, or changing its color.

It also included: not using types of spray, avoiding standing and getting off the vehicle on the public road, and prohibiting driving skateboards on public roads, because of the great danger it poses to the board user and other road users. Dubai Police clarified the list of violations that can be applied to any of the violators of the requirements of the celebration, including driving a vehicle in a way that endangers the life of its driver or the safety and security of others.

And the violation of parking in the middle of the road without justification, a fine of 1,000 dirhams and six traffic points, and the movement of vehicles in marches without a permit or in unauthorized cases, a fine of 500 dirhams, four traffic points and 15 days of vehicle confiscation.
