He stressed that this approach adopted by the UAE government aims to secure a decent life and a secure future for all who live in the UAE.

Al-Dhahri announced the update of the protocol for the return of prayer in mosques and chapels, in coordination with the General Authority for Islamic Affairs and Endowments, so that the updated protocol includes opening chapels on external roads, ablution places, toilets and women’s chapels, and awareness instructions will be printed and pasted in ablution places with precautionary measures in several languages, including Arabic. And English and Urdu, through the workers in mosques and chapels.
He pointed out that the updated protocol includes opening ablution basins by leaving a closed basin between the basin and the other basin, and re-providing paper tissues through electronic devices to supply tissues to avoid direct contact in ablution places and mosques, with the necessity of cleaning, disinfecting and sterilizing ablution places and toilets before each prayer and periodically. , with the application of physical spacing between worshipers to one and a half meters.

He pointed out that mosques will be closed immediately after prayer and not allow sitting and i’tikaf, while adhering to all precautionary and preventive measures in place in advance, while the mosque administration will have to provide cleaners all the time for the use of toilets belonging to mosques and chapels, and sterilization tools must be provided at exits. Places of ablution and all worshipers must sterilize hands after ablution, and special instructions will be provided in places of ablution by means of a series of ablutions, especially rinsing the mouth and inhaling water in a healthy way.

The protocol also includes removing all shoes for ablution or the bathroom, and cleaning, disinfecting and sterilizing ablution places and toilets after the worshiper has finished ablution or the bathroom before using the other worshiper, indicating that there are a number of roles and responsibilities entrusted in this protocol by the concerned authorities to monitor any abuses or Violations of the pioneers of mosques and chapels.

He stressed the coordination with the Cleaning and Sterilization Company, ablution places and toilets before each prayer, under the supervision and follow-up of the management of gas stations and imams of mosques, and coordination with the competent authorities from local municipalities and others to adopt the mechanism and tools of sterilization materials on time, pointing out the importance of imams and cleaners taking the vaccine and periodic PCR examination every 14 days with the adoption of the Al-Hosn application, in addition to disclosing when feeling respiratory symptoms or fever and avoiding attending the mosque.
