The Emirates Foundation for School Education has developed two options for the daily study system for kindergarten students
The Emirates Foundation for School Education has developed two options for the daily study system for kindergarten students, after implementing the federal government's decision to specify the weekly holiday for two and a half days, which will be implemented starting from the beginning of next January.
In the guide to determining the hours of the kindergarten school day, the Foundation clarified that the two options presented are, first, the quota system, so that the duration of each lesson is 45 minutes, and secondly, the hours system, according to specific considerations commensurate with the school, stressing the need to maintain the number of weekly study hours as they are 26 hours for this stage, because it is linked to the curricula and student learning outcomes.
The Foundation pointed out that the school schedule has been modified due to the change in Friday, so that work ends on this day at 12 noon, explaining that the students’ working hours start from Monday to Thursday from eight in the morning until one in the afternoon, and on Friday it starts from eight in the morning until eleven A.m.
The guide mentioned six general determinants of the kindergarten stage, firstly, the application of integrated learning integrated between the study subjects at a rate of 26 weekly hours, and secondly, the total working hours for teachers 34 and a half hours during the week (adjustable according to the decision of the new daily working hours), and thirdly, the total working hours of the staff Administrative 36 and a half hours during the week.
Fourth, coordination with the authorities concerned with providing school transportation to take into account the common lines with schools, and fifth, allocating the end of the school day after students leave, for the purposes of planning, periodic meetings and internal workshops, and finally providing selected videos and additional activities in support of the lesson in the approved educational platforms.
