Colonel Jassim bin Hadda, Director of Operations Department at the Sharjah Police General Command, revealed that the Central Operations Room dealt during the 50th Union Day holiday with 13,987 calls across the emirate, with 12,275 calls to the 999 number designated for emergency cases and 1,712 calls via the 901 number for non-emergency cases, which included For general inquiries and police services provided.

He pointed out that the incoming calls were dealt with quickly to ensure a speedy transition to the communication site in coordination with other police departments within the scope of reducing response time, indicating that the operations room is working to receive calls within the nature of a sensitive work, where calls are classified according to their importance to emergency and non-urgent emergency and taking the necessary measures.
