Emirates Airlines has opened a lounge at Dubai International Airport for young unaccompanied passengers
Emirates Airlines has opened a lounge at Dubai International Airport for young unaccompanied passengers and offers the new lounge located next to the first class lounge in Concourse B.
Parents or guardians who have previously booked with Emirates Airlines for the service of unaccompanied minors can drop the young passengers to Terminal 3 at Dubai International Airport, where the Emirates team at the airport will check-in for their travel procedures in a special lounge in the unaccompanied minors located between the Economy Class and First Class and Business Class halls.
After completing the travel procedures, a member of the Emirates Airport Services team will accompany the young passengers through passports and security and then to the departure hall designated for them and then to the boarding gate.
Emirates offers young passengers on board adorable toys and bags to take home inspired by Expo 2020 Dubai, featuring Emirates mini-figures. All dolls and bags are made from recycled materials and bags are made from completely recycled plastic bottles.
Young passengers alone during transit at Dubai Airport also receive special care, as they are received by members of the Emirates Airlines ground services team and escorted to one of the lounges designated for unaccompanied minors while waiting for their next flight.
Emirates services for unaccompanied minors must be booked in advance of travel and are available for children aged 5-11 years who are traveling alone without an adult. The service can also be booked for young people aged 12-15 years.
