Private schools in the northern emirates have decided to reopen the door for student registration for the next academic year on the condition that the students’ parents agree to re-register their children before the end of next March, and reserve a seat for each student for a non-refundable 500 dirhams. of registration for the next academic year.

School administrations explained in short text messages sent to the students’ families, and “Emirates Today” obtained a copy of it, that “opening the door for registration and reservation of seats starting from next March will be for students registered in the school during the current academic year, and that the students’ families must pay 500 dirhams is non-refundable for reserving a seat for their children before the end of next March.

She added that re-opening the registration door and reserving seats for students enrolled in classes early, in order to determine the number of students wishing to stay in schools during the next academic year, in preparation for opening the registration door for new students according to the number of vacant seats.

She pointed out that failure to re-register students before the end of next March will deprive the student of registration for the next academic year, and that the student's presence in schools does not guarantee his automatic registration for the next academic year without reserving a seat for him for 500 dirhams.
