Abu Dhabi Police confirmed that entry of heavy vehicles and the like into or out of residential neighborhoods at unauthorized times is a traffic violation with a fine of 1,000 dirhams and four traffic points.

It urged drivers of heavy vehicles to abide by the traffic permits issued by the competent authorities, to abide by their conditions and the timing of their traffic, to follow the instructions at the entrances to roads in Abu Dhabi city and its suburbs, and to adhere to the announced peak times for the movement of heavy vehicles in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, specified in the morning and evening periods in Abu Dhabi city from 6 30 to nine in the morning, and from three to six in the evening. Peak times in Al Ain are set from 6:30 to 8:30 in the morning, and from two to four in the afternoon.

She stressed that the emphasis on the enforcement, monitoring and violation of violations of heavy vehicles through smart systems is part of its efforts and strategic priorities in preserving the nation's gains, and making Abu Dhabi the capital of security and safety.
