The Fujairah Municipality, in cooperation with the Fujairah Environment Authority and the Department of Works and Agriculture in the Emirate of Fujairah, implemented a comprehensive campaign to fill in random open and abandoned wells in the emirate and its affiliated areas, with the aim of addressing accidents that may occur as these wells lack security and safety standards and pose a danger to community members and their property.

This campaign comes within the framework of the efforts of the responsible government agencies in the Emirate of Fujairah, which are united to protect the water resources in the Emirate, in order to achieve its vision of sustainable development with high quality standards. To farms abandoned by their owners due to the lack of water in them, which are widely spread in several places in the region, and pose a danger to the residents and their property.

The municipality calls on everyone to immediately report random wells to the toll-free number 80036, as part of its concern for the safety of all community members.
