Today, firefighting teams put out a sophisticated fire that broke out in an oil factory in the industrial area of ​​Al-Jazirah Al-Hamra, without causing any injuries.

The Director of the Civil Defense Department in Ras Al Khaimah, Brigadier General Muhammad Abdullah Al Zaabi, who was at the scene of the accident, accompanied by Colonel Hamad Salmin, Head of Operations Department, and Lt. Colonel Salem Al Shaer, Head of Centers Department, said that a report was received from the police operations at 7:30 p.m. yesterday. A major fire broke out in an oil factory in the industrial area of ​​Al-Jazirah Al-Hamra.

He added that four firefighting teams were sent from the administration centers, Al-Jazirah Al-Hamra, Al-Rafaa, and Al-Digdaga, in addition to support teams from Umm Al Quwain to the site of the accident. Cooling for two hours by water, while Ras Al Khaimah Ceramics provided water tanks.

He added that the fire resulted in material losses that have not yet been estimated without recording any human casualties, and added that the site of the fire was handed over to the competent authorities in Ras Al Khaimah Police to determine its causes and complete the legal procedures followed.
