The UAE has expressed its strong condemnation and denunciation of the targeting by the terrorist Houthi militia of King Abdullah Airport in Jazan, the sisterly Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, with two booby-trapped drones, one of which resulted in casualties among civilians traveling and working at the airport, while the second was intercepted by the coalition forces.

In a statement issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, the UAE considered that targeting the airport is a dangerous escalation and a cowardly act that threatens the security, safety and lives of civilians and travelers, and is a war crime that requires taking all necessary measures to protect civilian objects from the Houthi threats.
