The General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs in Dubai begins issuing a “tourist entry permit” for five years

Pursuant to the directives of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of the Executive Council, affirmed Dubai's continued consolidation of its position as a model for civilized cities that work to provide all Opportunities that support development, growth and prosperity, whether for their internal sectors or their partners from international institutions and companies, came on the occasion of the start of the General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs in Dubai issuing a “tourist entry permit” for five years, for the benefit of the business sector, in a step that would develop the economic, social and competitive system. And confirming the position of the UAE and Dubai among the main tourist destinations in the world, with the multi-entry permit allowing its holder to stay in the country for a period of 90 days, which can be extended for a similar period, while the issuance of the new permit came through close cooperation with the Department of Economy and Tourism in Dubai.

In line with the vision of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, to make Dubai the best city in the world for life, work and visit, this type of permission allows international companies to register through a special platform, to allow their employees to travel to the country multiple times, to facilitate their participation and attendance at events and conferences. And training courses, meetings, exhibitions, and other activities, with ease.

The new multiple entry permit comes to join the series of entry permits that have been created in the past period, such as the entry permit for remote work, retirement in Dubai, golden residency, and others.
