UAE: New conditions for entering the country through land ports

The Federal Authority for Identity, Nationality, Customs, Ports Security and the National Authority for Emergency, Crisis and Disaster Management have announced the update of the protocol for entering the country through land ports and border points for citizens of neighboring countries and who reside in border areas adjacent to the country and their frequent entry and exit from the country on an ongoing basis, provided that it begins to work as of Today, Tuesday, November 23.


According to the new update of the protocol, and with regard to the procedures required by individuals coming to the country through all land ports, whether they are members of the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf or foreigners from the category of vaccinated with approved vaccines and supporting doses, they must present a negative examination result that does not exceed 14 days, as well as Those coming from this category must undergo a PCR laboratory test on the sixth day of entering the country and in the case of staying for 6 consecutive days.

As for the procedures of the non-vaccinated category, they must present a negative examination result that does not exceed 72 hours, and those coming from this category must perform a PCR laboratory examination on the fourth day of entry in the event of a stay for 4 consecutive days or more, in addition to a PCR examination On the eighth day of entry in case of stay for 8 consecutive days or more.

In addition, the validity of the pre-examination has been extended for a period of 14 days for vaccinated and non-vaccinated educational staff, students and parents of students who transfer students, knowing that no change has been made to the established procedures related to supply chains.
