The program to raise the competitiveness of national cadres "Nafis", which was launched by the UAE government last September, to support and employ citizens working in the private sector during the next five years, confirmed that the "government allowance for children of workers in the private sector" includes a maximum of four children per citizen only. He added that if one of the spouses works in the public sector and the other works in the private sector, the possibility of disbursing support or not is determined according to the husband's job exclusively.

The Nafes program targets nationals looking for work and current workers in the private sector, of both sexes, between the ages of 18 and 60 years. It also targets private sector companies that hire Emirati citizens.

The program confirmed, on its official electronic platform, that citizens wishing to benefit from the “government allowance for children” program must also submit an application for obtaining this allowance through the digital platform, after confirming their eligibility to obtain the benefits of the allowance program for the children of workers in the private sector. The program confirmed that in order to benefit from the benefits of the "job loss support program," the citizen has the right to apply for financial aid for the temporary support program through the digital platform, after sixty days have passed since the loss of work.
