The UAE smart government has confirmed that the holder of a residence visa issued by the Emirates coming to the country through Dubai airports, does not need a prior approval from the General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs in Dubai or from the Federal Authority for Identity and Citizenship to enter the country, but this procedure excludes residence visa holders and those coming From Bangladesh, India, Indonesia, Nigeria, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, South Africa, Uganda, Vietnam and Zambia, they need to obtain pre-approval before preparing to travel.

And she stated, through her official account on Twitter, about the requirements for arrivals from these countries, that travelers from these countries must submit a negative test certificate to examine “Covid-19” issued within 48 hours from the time samples were collected from one of the laboratories listed in the recommended laboratories document. From Dubai, and submit a negative result for a rapid Covid examination (Rapid PCR test) at the airport before departure, and six hours before take off, while travelers coming from other countries must submit a negative test certificate for a “Covid-19” examination issued within 72 hours before departure.
