The municipality of Kalba city, affiliated to the Emirate of Sharjah, has announced that it has raised the red flag along the city's shore, due to the tropical situation in the beaches of the eastern region, which has led to rising sea waves and turbulence in order to preserve the safety of beachgoers and swimmers.

The municipality confirmed that the lifeguards designated to monitor the beach will prevent beachgoers from approaching or swimming in the sea, given the high risk that turbulent waves will cause as a result of the unstable weather, stressing that people will be subjected to legal accountability and violation in the event that instructions and requirements are not adhered to, in addition to that the responsibility of Children will fall on their parents.

Fujairah Police called on all citizens and residents not to go to the sea at the present time, to exercise caution while driving vehicles and to stay away from buildings under construction, in order to preserve their safety and others, stressing all contractors the need to ensure the safety of scaffolding and cranes in buildings under construction.
