The United Arab Emirates University registered a patent for an electric mask to kill viruses

The United Arab Emirates University registered a patent for an electric mask to kill viruses, coinciding with the outbreak of the new Corona virus, which demonstrated the importance of preventive protection tools such as protective clothing and face masks, and other protective equipment that can provide the necessary protection for society from exposure to large proportions.

This device has two flexible graphene electrodes connected to a power source such as a battery (which provides low direct current at low voltage) for operation. The electrodes are staggered to allow equal spacing. This overlapping nature provides an area large enough to allow sufficient airflow to allow the user to breathe, and on the other hand, these spaces allow for the flow of an electric field that kills viruses on contact.

The team was also able to develop other uses for the device to develop the vaccine by applying an alternating current overlaid with direct stimulation, which would weaken the effect of virus infection and the strength of its transmissibility. Thus, a vaccine is developed against viruses of the same type.
