Abu Dhabi Police, in cooperation with the Monitoring and Control Center, and as part of the "Safety Path" campaign and the "You Comment" initiative, broadcast a video of a driver who committed a run-over accident at pedestrian crossing lines.

The Directorate of Traffic and Patrols in the Central Operations Sector called on drivers to reduce speeds, and to abide by giving priority to pedestrians in the places designated for their crossing, noting that the penalty for not giving priority to pedestrians in the places designated for crossing in accordance with Article (69) is a fine of 500 dirhams, and the registration of six traffic points.
