Member of the Federal National Council, Sabreen Hassan Al Yamahi, intends to ask the Minister of Human Resources and Emiratisation, Dr Abdul Rahman bin Abdul-Manan Al-Awar, with the implementation of the new working hours system, which the government approved its implementation at the beginning of this month, Which provides for reducing the number of official working days for government agencies to four and a half days, in exchange for a weekly holiday of two and a half days, for private sector establishments, for the benefit of citizens working in this sector.

Al-Yamahi said that she will propose, during a parliamentary question to the minister, regarding “unifying the vacation and working hours system between the private and government sectors,” in the Federal National Council session scheduled for tomorrow.

The Federal National Council will hold its third session of the third ordinary session of the seventeenth legislative term, tomorrow, headed by the Speaker of the Council, Saqr Ghobash, to discuss a draft federal law regarding the adoption of the consolidated final account of the Federation, and the final accounts of independent bodies, for the fiscal year ending on December 31 2020.
