Today, Monday, the Emirates News Agency reported the death of 3 people, "Indian and a Pakistani", and the injury of 6 in the explosion of fuel tanks in Abu Dhabi.

In addition, the Abu Dhabi Police confirmed the outbreak of a fire this morning, which led to an explosion in 3 petroleum tanks transporting fuel in the Musaffah ICAD 3 area, near the ADNOC tanks, and a minor fire accident occurred in the new construction area at Abu Dhabi International Airport.

Preliminary investigations indicated that small flying objects, possibly belonging to drones, were detected in the two areas, which may have caused the explosion and fire. The competent authorities have been dispatched and the fire is being dealt with, according to the Emirates News Agency (WAM).

Al-Arabiya/Al-Hadath correspondent said that the two fires in Mussafah and Abu Dhabi Airport were completely controlled. He also clarified that the fire in the new construction area at Abu Dhabi Airport did not affect air traffic.
