The Roads and Transport Authority has announced a partial closure on the Al Qasba Bridge on the Corniche Street (Lake Al Khan), in order to carry out maintenance of expansion joints and to complete the development and raise the efficiency of roads.
The first phase of the closure will be implemented in the direction of the Emirate of Sharjah next Sunday, November 14, until Sunday, November 28, from 12:00 am to 05:00 am (midnight). She explained that the second phase of the closure will be from the direction to Dubai, starting from Monday, November 29, until December 13, from 12:00 in the morning until 05:00 in the morning (midnight).
She indicated that the University City Street will also be completely closed towards the Ali bin Salem Al-Mazrou intersection (between the Samnan areas and the Fifth Industrial Area) as part of the first phase to complete the development and raise the efficiency of roads in the Emirate of Sharjah, starting from next Saturday until Monday, December 20, for the works of Road maintenance.
She explained that everyone is requested to use alternative roads and follow the traffic and directional signs to avoid any traffic jams. The authority also apologizes for any inconvenience caused by the works.
