His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the King of the country, may God protect him, issued Decree No. 1 of 2022 amending some provisions of Decree No. 69 of 2004 reorganizing the Ministry of Interior, which states:

Article one:
The text of Clause (11) of (First) of Article One of Decree No. (69) of 2004 reorganizing the Ministry of Interior shall be replaced by the following text:
11- Customs affairs, including:
Head of Customs, followed by:
A - Monitoring and performance monitoring department.
B - Department of Communication and Strategic Planning.
C- The General Administration of Customs Inspection and Security, which includes:
- Customs administration at seaports.
Air Ports Customs Administration.
- Land port customs administration.
Customs Security Administration.
D- The General Administration of Clearance and Customs Services, which includes:

- Customs compliance and risk management.
Customs licenses management and customer service.
Customs clearance management.
E- General management of resources and information systems, including:

Training and development department.
- Managing financial resources.
- Information Systems Management.
- Department of Human Resources and Administrative Affairs.

second subject:
A new item No. (7) is added to (Second) of Article One of Decree No. (69) of 2004 reorganizing the Ministry of Interior, and the rest of the items are renumbered accordingly, as follows:
7- The General Department for the Execution of Sentences and Alternative Punishments, including:
Management of alternative penalties.
- Department of coordination and legal follow-up.
- Managing the execution of judgments.

Article Three:
The Minister of Interior shall implement this decree, and it shall be enforced from the date of its issuance, and shall be published in the Official Gazette.
