Kuwaiti Cabinet Statement on granting commercial visas, work permits, and facilities for arrivals

The Government Communication Center in the State of Kuwait announced that the Ministerial Committee for Corona Emergencies announced a decision to grant food security-related activities facilities to issue entry visas from commercial visits and work permits.

The Ministerial Committee for Corona Emergencies said that these activities include farms, “restaurants, food supplies and bakeries”, “fishing and selling fish”, “livestock and poultry breeders and dairy producers”, “factories of food suppliers and shopping centers” and “water and beverage bottling companies.”

The Ministerial Committee for Corona Emergencies stressed the need to adhere to the provisions of the Cabinet’s decision regarding the conditions and controls for recipients of the vaccine for those coming, and to implement the preventive health measures in force in the Kuwaiti Ministry of Health.

With regard to the issue of fees for renewing residency permits for residents of the State of Kuwait who are 60 years old, informed sources answered that the Kuwaiti Cabinet, in its meeting yesterday headed by His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled, did not look into the matter.
