With regard to the possibility of establishing preferential prices for citizens and residents in the country, the minister said: “The general trend in the ministry is not to interfere with prices, but the issue of the hotel room price has two parts, namely the timing of the visit and the priority of reservation. There are observations received from neighboring countries that their citizens get more prices. What the tourists get from a foreigner, and by studying the matter, we found that some companies offer reduced prices to attract tourism and this is among the companies’ strategies to open new markets, and most importantly we found that the foreign tourist books the hotel room long before his arrival to the state, and this has a significant impact on The price, as for citizens and residents, there are many hotels that offer discounts starting from 10% for them,” stressing that obtaining discounted prices for hotel rooms is linked to long-term pre-booking, so prices vary.
