UAE Opening the first phase of electronic registration to promote work in the private sector

The Emirati Cadres Competitiveness Council announced the launch of the first phase of electronic registration for the initiatives of the federal program "Nafis", which aims to enhance work in the private sector of the United Arab Emirates.

The council also announced the availability of the ability to apply and inquire about the valuable opportunities and benefits of the Nafis program and the available jobs through the digital platform of the Nafis website www.nafis.gov.ae, which was recently launched to serve as a partnership center linking the private sector with citizens looking for work in the various emirates of the country. The launch of the federal program "Nafis" was announced last September by the Emirati Competitiveness Council, under the leadership of His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Presidential Affairs and Chairman of the Board, and His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation. The program aims to increase the competitiveness of the Emirati workforce and lay the foundations to enable citizens to fill 75,000 jobs in the private sector over the next five years, at a rate of 15,000 jobs annually. The five-year program adopts a comprehensive approach to facilitating the employment of Emirati nationals in the private sector through the phased implementation of 11 initiatives covering all aspects of the job seeker's employment journey. Commenting on the launch of the first phase of the Nafes digital platform, His Excellency Ghannam Al Mazrouei, Secretary-General of the Emirati Competitiveness Council, said: With the launch of the first phase of the digital platform for the Nafes program, we extend an open invitation to Emiratis and all companies in the private sector in the country to explore the valuable opportunities and benefits of the Nafes program.
