Today, Thursday, the Federal Authority for Government Human Resources issued a circular addressed to all ministries and federal entities regarding regulating the work of a mother employee working in the federal government who has children studying in the distance learning system.
The authority indicated - in its circular - that in light of the conversion of the study to the "distance learning" system during the first two weeks of the next second semester, which begins on Monday, January 3, 2022 AD, and based on the directives issued regarding the support of the female employee working in the federal government during the period Learning her children remotely, the federal entity may allow the mother employee to work remotely if she has a child in the school stage of the sixth grade or less, or a person of determination who suffers from chronic diseases, and needs the presence of a companion with him, and it was decided to apply distance learning to him, and this During the distance learning period determined by the competent authorities in the country.
The circular stated that the issuance of approval for the mother employee to work remotely is subject to a set of controls, which are: That the job occupied by the employee meets all the conditions, controls and standards contained in the remote work system approved by Cabinet Resolution No. 27 of 2020 AD and any subsequent amendment to it, does not affect Issuance of approval for the mother employee on the workflow in the federal entity, and that the approval is based on a study schedule approved by the school in which the child is registered, and that the flexibility mentioned in this circular is limited only during the distance education period determined by the competent authorities in the country,
And that the employee who has a child of the People of Determination, to whom distance learning will be applied, must submit a medical report to her employer proving that her child needs the presence of an escort with him, and that the mother employee is not from the medical or educational staff. The authority clarified in its circular that the federal entity may allow the employee to work remotely if his wife, the mother employee, works in the medical or educational staff, and in accordance with the aforementioned conditions, calling on all the federal entities operating the human resources information management system in the federal government “Bayanati” to follow the mechanism that have been circulated.
As for the federal entities that are linked with the “Bayanati” system through the institutional services carrier, they must modify their systems in line with the mechanism that has been circulated, and provide the authority with data related to this procedure through the existing link between their systems and the “Bayanati” system.
