After a winter storm warning was issued in Canada, school buses were canceled, especially after the recent storm warnings, with heavy snowfall, ranging from 15 to 30 cm.
Winter storm warning in Canada
Based on the report published by Environment Canada, heavy snow is expected to fall, in addition to dangerous winter conditions, on Wednesday afternoon.
It is expected that this dangerous winter storm will produce between 15 and 30 cm of snow. These climatic conditions will affect horizontal visibility, especially in areas of heavy snow, with snow falling.
It is also worth noting that the Ministry of Environment Canada indicated in its report, “Heavy snowfall and snowfall accompanying a major winter storm are expected to begin affecting northeastern Ontario today.”
The Minister added in her official statement, which was reported by many local and international media, that the worst conditions are expected tonight until Wednesday morning. Total snowfall is likely to reach 15 to 30 cm.
As for the winds, they are northeasterly, reaching a speed of 60 km/hour, in addition to snow falling on the areas, which leads to low horizontal visibility at times.
