Dubai Electricity Authority launches the “Smart Response” service on its website

Dubai Electricity and Water Authority launched the “Smart Response” service through its smart application and website.

The Authority explained that this service will enable customers to self-diagnose technical faults in electricity and water, and the service also works to reduce the time required to deal with reports in the event that the case requires a field visit from the technical team.

The Authority advised customers that in the event of a power outage inside homes or buildings, they must identify the affected areas and inspect the internal distribution panel.

However, in the event that one of the breakers is disconnected, they must seek the assistance of a qualified technician to address the internal defect, and if all breakers are in the operating position, You can use the smart response service in the Authority’s smart application and follow the steps described.

The authority added that with regard to water, customers must ensure that water tanks and internal connections are in accordance with the specifications set by the authority to ensure the availability of water supplies, with the necessity of not direct connection from the main water line without connecting it to the water tank, and the capacity of the water tank must be sufficient to supply water for a period of time. At least 24 hours, in addition to regularly maintaining water tanks to ensure water quality and avoid blockages.

Dubai Airports invites passengers to arrive early before their flights:

Dubai Airports called on passengers departing through Dubai International Airport (DXB) and Al Maktoum International Airport (DWC) to arrive at the airport sufficiently before flight schedules, given the fluctuations in the weather conditions expected in the country on Thursday and Friday, and to avoid any possible delays due to Traffic congestion, and allocating extra time to check in.

Dubai Airports also advised travelers to use smart applications to obtain updates on traffic and alternative routes, and also called for using the Dubai Metro to reach Terminal 1 and Terminal 3 at Dubai International Airport, if possible.
