The UAE passport has added new countries to the list of countries that require a prior entry visa, and thus the number of countries that do not require a prior visa has increased to 179, according to the latest update published by the "Passport Index" website, which is affiliated with the "Arton Capital" company.

It is worth noting that the Emirati passport was at the beginning of this month, "November 2022", allowing entry to 177 countries.

Allowing travel from the UAE to 179 countries without a visa

In this context, the Emirati passport now allows its holder to enter 179 countries around the world. Of them, about 121 countries do not have a prior entry visa, in addition to about 58 countries whose visas are obtained through the Internet or upon arrival.

Countries that require a visa

After the increase in the number of countries that do not require a prior visa for Emirati passport holders, there are now about 19 remaining countries that need to obtain a prior entry visa, out of a total of 198 countries around the world.

Ranking of passports worldwide

According to the latest update, the ranking of passports worldwide is as follows:

In first place: the United Arab Emirates, where the Emirati passport gives its holder the right to enter 179 countries without a visa.

The second place includes passports of 11 countries, and gives its holders the right to enter 173 countries without a visa, including (Germany, Sweden, Finland, Luxembourg, Spain, France, Italy).

The third place includes passports of 8 countries that grant their holders the right to enter 172 countries without a prior visa, including: the United States of America, Denmark, Belgium and Poland.
