The UAE government provides a discounted visa for residents of the UAE for a period of 5 years, renewable, for people who plan to live in the UAE for a long time.

A new visa in the UAE is priced at only 720 dirhams

The government explained that the new visa in the UAE for those seeking long-term residency was designed at a reduced and symbolic price of about 720 UAE dirhams only.

Through this visa, which was announced by the Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs and Ports Security in the UAE, the government aims to grant people aged 55 years a residence visa for 5 years.

This new visa is considered an appreciation from the state for their great contributions and dedication to work during the years they spent in the UAE, while giving them options to renew their residency after its expiration.

Conditions for obtaining a 5-year residence visa

The government has set a number of conditions that must be met to obtain a residence visa in the Emirates.

Among them is the necessity of proving their work and residence in the countryside for a period of 15 years, whether inside or outside the country.

In addition to owning real estate worth 1,000,000 UAE dirhams, the value of the property is then evaluated by the responsible authorities.

It is also required to transfer a deposit of no less than 1,000,000 UAE dirhams, whether in a government bank or any other bank, within 60 days of issuing the residence permit.

An annual income of no less than 240 thousand dirhams

The government also requires that female retirees must prove an annual income of no less than 240 thousand dirhams.

Submitting a bank statement proving these amounts during the last 6 months.

Fees required to obtain a 5-year residence visa

  • The fee for obtaining a residence permit is 200 dirhams.
  • There is a fee of ten dirhams in.
  • The cost of innovation is ten dirhams [United Arab Emirates].
  • Fee within the country: five hundred UAE dirhams.

Virtual work visa in the UAE for one year

This visa allows a foreign resident to work remotely in the Emirates for one year, subject to renewal, and is very suitable for freelancers and entrepreneurs who travel extensively to conduct their business in more than one country.

However, the government requires that the resident’s salary be equivalent to about $3,500 per month or its equivalent in other currencies, with the need to submit a certificate of good standing certified by the state.

The country of the Netherlands also provides a 5-year visit visa for residents, for a period of 30 days, which can be renewed after completion, if you are from the countries of (Andorra, Australia, Brunei, Canada, China, Japan, Kazakhstan, Malaysia, Mauritius, Monaco, New Zealand, Ireland, San Marino, Singapore, Ukraine, United Kingdom, Northern Ireland, United States of America, Vatican City).
